We are recruiting for a Lead Grill Chef for a new Turkish Steakhouse opening in Heswall.

You will be a part of a tight nit team to achieve a successful service.


It is vital that you can cook different cooks of steak & meat to the customer’s request, no matter how busy you are.

Being calm under pressure & maintaining quality is key,


They have another steak house in Bebbington where you will complete a trial shift.

this is a small but growing independent company who work closely with their staff to ensure that their staff and customers are happy.


Maintain cleanliness and filling in all due diligence paperwork.

including, but not limited to… Temperature recording, wastage recording, allergens, cleaning rotas, labelling, orders. As well as all other expected kitchen duties.


Hours – 40 per week. Chance for more if wanted.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
  • Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
  • Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
  • Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
  • Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
  • Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.

What are we looking for?

  • Valid food hygiene Level 2 certificate.
  • Food Allergen Certificate
  • You will have an NVQ Level 1,2,3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) or relevant experience in the role.
  • Good Knowledge of food and passion for delivering high quality, affordable, on-the-go and sit-down meals.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Your own chefs whites & safety shoes
