Job Title: Knowsley Safari Park Janitor


Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and reliable janitors to join our team at Knowsley Safari Park. As a janitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience at the park. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining park facilities, including restrooms, pathways, dining areas, and other common spaces, ensuring a spotless and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, dining areas, and other park facilities on a regular basis.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in high-traffic areas throughout the park.
  • Empty waste bins and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Respond to cleaning requests or spills in a timely manner to ensure guest safety.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms.
  • Clean and sanitise outdoor seating areas, picnic tables, and benches.
  • Ensure cleanliness of car parks, walkways, and attraction queues.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or safety hazards, to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist in event clean-ups and after-hours maintenance as needed.


Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Walking long distances across the park.
  • Handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Frequent interaction with guests and other staff members.
