Job Title: Food Catering Assistant

Location: Felixstowe

Salary: £12.36 + holiday pay = £13.85 TOTAL

Job Type: Part Time Sat/Sun 7am - 2pm.


Role Overview:

We are seeking food catering assistants to work in a healthcare environment. Working front of house taking orders and communicating with patients and visitors. Also working back of hours, cleaning all work station areas and removing rubbish. Ensuring PPE is worn correctly. Some KP/Wash up duties. Ensure Food and Beverages prepared to the highest standard and in line with all Food Safety guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the preparation of some basic meals/snacks to a high standard, following food safety regulations
  • Maintain excellent hygiene standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Cleaning of work areas and utensils
  • Manage stock levels, monitor waste, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
  • Always maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.


Requirements:


  • Experience in a catering/kitchen environment (front or back of house)
  • BASIC DBS Certificate - we can assist with this if required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering great service & attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
