OVERVIEW

We are recruiting for experienced chefs to work at one of the countries biggest race courses, on all race meets throughout the season. The site has a variety of kitchens from fine dining banqueting to buffets for 500+ people.

You will work as part of a brigade of chefs to achieve a successful service for your lead chef. Working on A section and helping out where needed.

Experience in large scale Banqueting is preferable, but if you have a minimum of 3 years chef experience in fast paced environments, feel free to get in touch as hard working, skilled chefs with great attitudes are always welcome.

£17.00+ Holiday = £19.04ph for this role.

You also have the choice of working with us at other venues/events and freedom to choose your shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.

What are we looking for?

Valid food hygiene certificate. You will have an NVQ Level 2/3 Professional Cookery or relevant experience in the role.
Good Knowledge of food and passion for delivering high quality, affordable, on-the-go and sit-down meals.

An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
