Job description

  • Are you looking to work in the fast-paced event industry?

  • Are you looking for a job where every day is different?

Then look no further… Arc are looking for People Operations support who will be focused on Recruiting and Staffing for some of the biggest events across London and South England.

The London team are currently looking for operational support for 6 months (April – September) during our busy period, potential for a full-time position for the right person.

Who are we and what do we do?

We are Arc, one of the UK’s leading event staff specialists, providing top-class people to sports venues, caterers, hotels and tourist attractions across the UK.

We’ve grown consistently over the last 13 years and continue to do so. When the pandemic hit, the hospitality industry was forced to take a breather, we adapted by supplying key workers to in-demand sectors, such as Covid testing sites and hospitals. With hospitality now back in full force, we are ready to continue to grow and be the best in our industry.

At Arc, we value drive and innovation. Our vision is to shape the world of flexible work into a better place for all. We’re honest with all our clients and staff and like to maintain an excellent level of communication with both. We care about our staff and their well-being, as well as the needs of our clients. These elements combined with our determination to succeed ensure that we provide 100% delivery to make each event a success.

What can you expect?

You will actively take responsibility for the successful recruitment, onboarding and life cycle of our casual Team Members, including right to work compliance checks, through to coordinating our in-person recruitment/induction sessions. You will be the go-to person for advice and support to help guide our casual workers and manage their expectations on a day-to-day basis. You will need to be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, as we continue to build our full-time team across our hubs.

This is a varied role with excellent development opportunities. You will be required to work at events to get involved in on-site staff check ins, whilst offering support, advice and valuable feedback to our clients and team members in order to further expand your industry knowledge.

This is a permanent role, working full-time hours (5 days out of 7) – 40 hours per week.

Because we work at some of the best events in the UK, weekend work is required, as are occasional early starts and late finishes.

Who are we looking for?

We need people who are calm and have a professional manner even when the going gets tough (and it will). You will need to be energetic and driven with a passion to help us deliver recruitment and staffing solutions to events and hospitality in London and across the UK.

A hospitality background is preferable but not essential – we need someone who is willing to get stuck in!

What’s in it for you?

We provide competitive salaries and realistic fast track opportunities for progression. You will join a dynamic, energetic, and dedicated team in a working environment where you can express your ideas, develop your skills and forge your own career path.
