Pay Rate £13.45PH + HP = £15.07PH
Overview
Arc Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an experienced and reliable Food Prep Assistant to join our kitchen team for the duration of the Lexus Nottingham Open. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, so strong knife skills and prior kitchen experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting chefs with food preparation tasks
- Preparing ingredients to a high standard (chopping, slicing, portioning, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
- Following all food hygiene and safety procedures
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a professional kitchen
- Must have your own set of chef knives
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Training & Compliance
- It is desirable that candidates already hold relevant certifications such as:
- Level 2 Food Safety
- Food Allergen Awareness
- However, for the right candidates, all required online training can be provided free of charge.
