Trailfinders Sports Club is one of West London’s premier function venues, boasting outstanding hospitality and sporting facilities. With 20 acres and 5 modern pavilions, events vary from weekly matches for professional rugby championship side Ealing Trailfinders and their Premier 15 Women’s team to Trailfinders Cricket Club to smaller sporting & private events.

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Bar/Duty Manager, to provide exceptional service and hands on support of the daily management of our very busy, multi-function site.


PAY RATE:

£16.50ph (£18.49ph including holiday pay) - Holiday Pay is automatically paid, there is no need to request it!


Role Requirements Include (but not limited to):

- Demonstrate high levels of planning, organising, and time management to drive the operational execution across the site

- To take control of the practical operations during shift of the large multi-use private sports ground with sport facilities both inside & outside, in addition to our many function spaces

- Oversee bar operation (permanent and temporary bar outlets depending on function size)

- Ensure safety and security procedures are adhered to

- Check and handle deliveries for quality & quantity and report any discrepancies as appropriate

- Control all stock according to the Company procedures, including ordering, handling, portioning, wastage and administration

- Help monitor and comply with all legal and company requirements for hygiene, food safety, health and safety and alcohol service guidelines

- Identify training needs of staff and attend staff briefings and training session as required

- To ensure all departments receive a helping hand when necessary

- Oversee preparation and support the logistical set up for different functions

- Assist in coordinating and managing various events, such as live match days, corporate and private functions and promotional activities

- Set up and dismantle event spaces according to the event requirements


Personal Skills:

- Excellent team leading and guest engagement skills

- Lead by example and foster a positive and respectful team culture

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with problem-solving abilities


What do we expect from you?

- Experience in hospitality or customer service, especially in managing and delivering high-quality service, is advantageous

- Personal license qualification- required

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

- Have a strong understanding of food & beverage

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays (day off in lieu provided)

- Intermediate level of MS Office (Excel and Word)

- Able to learn and operate POS system efficiently

- Have a willing “can do” attitude

- Interest of sports (especially professional) is beneficial but not required
