Arc are looking for a specialised Chef Recruitment Consultant to join our London team! This is a role dedicated to recruitment of back of house positions, all levels of chefs and kitchen support roles. You’ll be recruiting and assessing candidates, staffing events, checking in your teams across our portfolio of London clients.


Your main responsibilities will be to recruit and staff the most suitable, well looked after team members in kitchens across our London venues. You will have key accounts and will build relationships with chefs and clients alike, helping Arc grow in our back-of-house division.


Even better - a typical working week is approximately 40 hours (5 days out of 7). You'll be vastly office based, with off-site client visits and event check ins giving more excitement and variety to your week.

What can you expect?

You will actively take responsibility for the successful recruitment, onboarding and life cycle of our casual culinary team, including right to work compliance checks, through to coordinating our in-person recruitment/induction sessions. You will be the go-to person for advice and support to help guide our team members and manage their expectations on a day-to-day basis. You will need to be comfortable working independently on your own projects as well as being a team player.

This is a varied role with excellent development opportunities. You will be required to work at events to get involved in on-site staff check ins, whilst offering support and valuable feedback to our clients and team members.

Because we work at some of the best events in the UK, weekend work is required, as are occasional early starts and late finishes.


Who are we looking for?

- A natural born organiser and a ‘doer’, someone who gets things done!

- Great with people and they naturally buy into you.

- Confident and persuasive & happy to deal with difficult or uncomfortable situations.

- Someone who has previously worked in the cheffing industry; or staffing industry recruiting Chefs and kitchen porters.

- Has experience dealing with agency/temporary/casual staff.

- Can deliver to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure, as well as an individual who is professional and approachable.


We need people who are calm and have a professional manner even when the going gets tough (and it will). You will need to be energetic and driven with a passion to help us deliver recruitment and staffing solutions to events and hospitality in London and across the UK.

We need someone who is willing to hit the ground running!
